MoniQue A. Simpson

MoniQue Simpson is an Arizona native. Originally from Tucson, she attended Arizona State University, where she received a bachelor's degree in broadcasting with a minor in business. MoniQue went on to earn her law degree from ASU in 2004 and began her practice in the area of civil litigation.

MoniQue's commitment to the community also began while she was in law school, and it has continued since she was admitted to the bar in 2004. As a mentor for ASU law students and a member of minority bar organizations, MoniQue makes time to promote and speak on diversity within the legal profession.

Since joining Thomas, Thomas & Markson as an associate in 2005, MoniQue has focused her practice on civil litigation in premises liability and automobile liability defense. She has successfully tried cases before juries and has handled appeals in state and federal courts.

MoniQue is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, the Maricopa County Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute and the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel, and is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona.

In addition to practicing law, MoniQue Simpson serves on the board of directors of JSW Charities, which provides free immigration legal representation to children in the foster care system. She also volunteers her time to Wills For Heroes and the State Bar's Volunteer Lawyers program. MoniQue also serves as an adjunct faculty member in business law at Maricopa Community College. Most important, she is a mother and enjoys spending time with her son.
