Jay graduated from Rutgers University School of Law in 1997. After serving as an intern with The Honorable Roger G. Strand of the Federal District Court in Phoenix following his second year of law school, Jay went on to become licensed in both New Jersey and Arizona. He decided to remain in Arizona where he began his career as a lawyer at Thomas & Elardo, P.C. Jay's practice encompasses all areas of civil tort litigation with emphasis on insurance defense, personal injury, UIM/UM, premises liability, products liability, workers compensation, wrongful death, conservatorships and other probate matters.
